Originally from Sydney, down in Wollongong today due to business. I can say this place is fantastic, everything is very delicious. We ordered the spicy sizzling beef which was indeed quite spicy (be careful with this one 😂) The yaki udon was nice and savoury and have a good variety of vegetables inside aswell as the pork was very tender and bouncy, we also got the okonomiyaki which was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would definitely come back to this place as the owner is lovely and the food is great.

Firstly let’s get to the most important part, the food was AMAZING! Secondly, to compliment that amazing food was the amazing kind and professional customer service. We will be back :)

Absolute gem! Every single dish we tried was fresh, incredibly delicious, and had that wonderful home-cooked taste. You can really tell everything is made with quality ingredients and genuine care. Amazing food, great atmosphere—we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly Recommend!

I went here for dinner for my 18th birthday. I got the Donburi, which was really good. We also got the chicken katsu, Jins signature curry, the miso and garlic beef stir fry and the chicken upon. They had a few unique Asian soft drinks as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!

If you havent tried Jin's Place you absolutely must ❤️ We called in for takeaway last friday and the food is a must for lovers of Japanese/Korean cuisine. A 5 star dining experience awaits you. The food is made with love and super delicious- yaki udons, prawn popcorn and miso eggplant will not leave our minds any time soon- compliments to the chef! The meal boxes had handwritten notes on them with the words- enjoy :). What a lovely touch 🙂 The menu is innovative and vast and caters to all dietary requirements along with lots of vegetarian options which made me so happy 🙂 The owner and beautiful team are the nicest people you will ever meet and so efficient in preparing our meals.I felt valued,appreciated and was offered a seat inside to wait for the food on a cold evening. I strongly recommend everyone to dine or order takeaway from Jins Place. You are officially our favourite our favourite japanese restaurant in Illawarra❤️
